MIAMI - The Easton Group announced the official opening of Lakes Corporate Park, the newest 35-acre office and industrial project in the North Dade/Miami Lakes market. Lakes Corporate Park, a development by CAP-East - a joint venture formed by the Easton Group and the Capeletti family, will include 550,000 square-feet comprised of flex/office space and bulk/warehouse distribution facilities when completed.
"Our objective is to duplicate the quality and amenities of our award-winning International Corporate Park," said Rick Nash, president and C.E.O of The Easton Group. "And I believe we succeeded. The North Dade-Miami Lakes market offers a fantastic location and access to all the major transportation arteries."
ADVO, the nation's largest full-service targeted direct mail marketing services concern and the company behind the ShopWise brand and the Missing Child Program, has leased 100,000 square feet to be used as a production and distribution facility. ADVO, currently headquartered in Miami Lakes, is expected to take occupancy in early 2001.
Michael C. Rice, vice president of Easton & Associates, represented CAP-East and ADVO was represented by Ted Konigsberg, Steve Wasserman, and Mike Elardo of Colliers Lehrer & Co.
Phase I consists of two identical 35,800-square-foot buildings. These office/flex buildings offer 50% office build-out, beautiful landscaping and some lakefront views. Leasing prices vary from about $10 - $12 per square foot, depending upon office build-out.
